Harlequin of the Year
This trophy is awarded at the discretion of the Chairman. It is awarded on the basis of out-of-the-ordinary service to the Club.
For 2025 it was presented to Robert Vickers, who was jointly chosen by the departing and incoming chairs:
“Besides having recently celebrated 50 years since he started orienteering, Robert was a very effective club Secretary for a number of years, and continues to contribute as Landowner Liaison for many of our favourite areas. Despite having had to give up driving, he still manages to get around to O-events and Parkruns by effective use of public transport and lifts from other club members (we’re all happy to oblige!)”
