With a desperately close battle amongst the top four clubs at Sutton Park, and only three to qualify, it was a tense wait for the official results to be published. A thirteen strong HOC contingent decided to spend last Saturday evening running around in the dark in Egypt Wood, Slough for the 2026 British Night Championships, hosted by Happy Herts. Congratulations are due to Seb Blackmore, for getting onto the podium in his first year as an M16 with an excellent 3rd place. HOC have won the West Midlands League for the first time since 2006. The season ended with another strong performance at Octavian Droobers’ Brandon Wood event last Sunday.
